Roper was born 6 months after Ruth Ann and I'm just as shocked to say he's 2 years old as I am to say Ruth Ann is 2 years old herself! Since Roper has a summer birthday and a family connection to some pretty fabulous inflatable slides we were in for a BIG treat...literally, a big treat...
And for those who believe this slide was a "kids only" activity...you would be wrong...very wrong...
The party started at 11am and was scheduled to end at 2pm...we left at 4pm to let Ruth Ann nap and were invited back at 6pm for dinner and more sliding fun. Eventually the McCarty's and the Brown's each headed home around 9pm. Was this because the kids were just having so much fun we just didn't have the heart to brake up good friends having a lot of good clean fun?? Nope...the parents, who were also good friends having good clean fun, just didn't want the party to end! And for that reason I award Roper Clark's 2nd birthday to be the BEST birthday of all time! An award I think his daddy may be more proud of than the birthday boy himself! Thanks for a fun day and fun new memories sweet Roper!

The Best Birthday of All Time...that puts the pressure on for next time. Maybe we should stop having birthday parties. :)
