Happy New Year!!

So our biggest New Year's event was obviously celebrating Tripp's birthday...but we also had a some friends over for some traditional New Year's festivities...

It also happened to be the night of the Auburn bowl game...and since Carolina was still a few days away from playing I thought it was perfectly appropriate for everyone to be dressed in Auburn gear...



Thanks to the Brown's we had some sparklers and thanks to a gift to Spencer from Aunt Toni 3 years ago we had some firework fun too...













And then I asked all the sparkler handlers to get together for a quick picture...which the kids happily gathered for but the adults have a look of fear because of all the fireworks in such close proximity to each other...



Then we rushed inside to watch the ball drop, give out kisses and then sing to Tripp-man...





Happy New Year! 2011 was one of my favorite years yet...since it started off with the birth of my baby boy...2012 has big shoes to fill!
