Favorite Friday

Since starting my blog a few years ago I've found that once you start a blog you also end up stalking other's blogs. One blog I've come to enjoy is The Other Mama. I enjoy her blog because she's a real mama, she went to Auburn so that fact alone tells me she has good moral character...and I think that if we met in person we would definitely be friends.

This week she is starting Favorite Friday...the task is simple, just post something that has been your favorite this week...I've had several faves so I've got material running around through my head for future posts...but I had to make a decision, so here it is....

Sewing pants and matching tops! To show you exactly how cute these outfits are I enlisted the help of my favorite child model...Ruth Ann.

Since Ruth Ann is now walking most of the time I've turned my attention to sewing some cute ruffle pants for this spring. They are so cute and so super easy! And what would make these pants even more precious??? A matching top of course...

And here's a close up of the shirt...

It's hard to see how cute this fabric is, so here's a closer look...

And a closer look at how this shirt matches these pants...

Now I'm ready to see these cold days come to an end and for Spring to finally arrive!

Hop over to The Other Mama's blog to check out what other favorites are posted...and post one for yourself!

Happy Friday!!

Correction: I have found out Hillary (The Other Mama) actually did not go to Auburn, but rather Troy State University...another fine Alabama university...I had assumed from her devotion to Auburn that she like myself had graduated from Auburn. Ths in no way changes my opinion of her character...she's still a fan of Auburn and that's good enough for me!

Cute outfits and it looks like Ruth Ann has real talent being a model with her hands on her hips! :)
I can totally see you and Hillary being friends. She is my age and grew up in Dothan too. We went to different schools but played against each other in softball. She has always been hilarious, but also so sweet!!

Oh my word, those outfits are TOO cute! Do you sell them? Just visiting from Hillary's blog...

OK several things.
#1- we are totally friends and need to hang out in real life.
#2- I didn't go to Auburn- I graduated from Troy- but am a huge Auburn fan. My whole family went there and I was the first one in 80 years NOT to graduate from Auburn. Sad? Yes- but I had a full scholarship and loved every minute at Troy.
Do I still have good morals? Of course- war eagle.
#3- You are so stinking talented. Really. Amazing. Do you sell this stuff?
We'll have to talk via e-mail about something I'm thinking about starting.
#4- I would like to nibble on Ruth Ann as a snack. She is SO incredibly cute. I think you have a model on your hands there!
#5- for the love of Peter, I can't remember what it was.
Talk soon, though.

Hey! Found your blog off of Hilary's blog and LOVE LOVE LOVE those outfits!! I am obsessed with the ruffle pants myself! Unfortunately, I do not sew though! I have been buying them off of Etsy.com for some time now. Do you sell yours? Where do you find such cute fabric????

I'm with the other girls. You could TOTALLY sell this stuff. A-freakin'-dorable! Your talent is amazing, and your daughter is stunning.

PS -- where did you get the Eiffel Tower print? It's to die for!

TCFW!! (Too Cute For Words)

Oh my...I love to sew. I MISS sewing for little girls. I could take a shot at these, but I seriously doubt that my teen daughters would wear these!

Wait a Minute! Maybe pajama bottoms...

With matching tank tops...

Hmmm...if I were you, I'd be seriously questioning Hillary's "good" morals now. Seeing as how she snowed you into thinking she graduated from your school and all. (KIDDING!)

Okay, seriously? You MADE those outfits? Ridiculous! I cannot sew to save my life, so I am SO impressed! Adorable. (And I mean the clothes AND the kiddo!)

WHERE did you find the fabric with the red Eiffle towers on it? That fabric alone is enough to make me pass out from joy...
And you baby girl is darling. Even without your precious clothing on her. But she is even cuter with your dahling creations!

If my girls were still babies, I'd be buyin'. (But alas, they are not.) Your work is impeccable and those tops . . . too cute!! Great job!

Ruth Ann is as cute as can be! I love the outfits and so impressed you created all of them. Now, if you could find the time to sew for a part-time job...
